festival. The Center is brimming with an array of art and fine art craft by
area artists who run the gamut from potters, painters and photographers to
jewelry makers, wood workers and sculptors

December 1 2011 - January 5, 2012 Open Door SeriesTwice a year,
summer and winter, The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake opens its doors to
the area's emerging artists for submissions of works in any medium, of any
subject. Works are juried for acceptance by professional artists from the area,
and cash awards given to recognize outstanding pieces. These submissions are
also used to identify artists for future invitational shows.

January 12 - 26, 2012Rodeo ArtClear Creek and Friendswood ISD students (K-12) exhibition in conjunction with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Cowboys, cowgirls and life on the farm are featured in students' fresh take on the Rodeo Art. This community outreach show boasts over 500 wonderful works, selected for their excellence in theme, execution and creative vision to reflect the spirit of the rodeo.
