Designed for students ages 5 and up, Imagination Station is a FREE program offered the second Saturday of each month. This year's theme is "New Ways of Perceiving, Interpreting and Translating Reality in the Language of Art," where our young guests learn about the art and techniques of artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Thomas Gainsborough. Under the direction of volunteer art educator Dr. Rosalind Perez, children discover these artists and others, through various examples of artwork and simple projects. Dr. Perez has designed this hour-long interactive program to educate, entertain, and inspire young children. Parental participation is required. Parents are required to sit with their children and to help the instructor as needed by providing guidance and assistance.
Workshops are held the Second Saturday of each month September - June from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
RSVPs are required
Please call or email your RSVP by the Wednesday before each workshop to insure there are enough supplies and space.
