Painting on YUPO
Try this "paper" and you may never paint the same again. YUPO is a plastic film and watercolor paint sits on the surface and pools and mingles in interesting ways. Because it is plastic, you can easily remove paint and make changes until you are satisfied with the results. This product works great for textured paintings with suggestive detail. A small fee will be charged for the YUPO paper.

Mar 24
Painting with a Limited Palette
Instead of always buying new colors, really experiment with what you already have to create new color combinations. Limiting your colors frees you to concentrate on other elements of your work, helps you to paint quicker, and create more intense and unified paintings. Join us and bring a new color sense to your work.
Bring your watercolor supplies.

Apr 21
Painting Simple Landscapes
Using layers of color, and techniques that range from wet-into-wet to dry-brush, we will create simple landscapes that are fun and easy to do. I will have a few exercises to follow along with, or you can bring your own ideas to work on. We will build skills to create satisfying paintings step by step.
Bring your painting supplies.
