ARTS
EDUCATION Imagination Station is a FREE program
for children offered the second Saturday of each month. Last years theme
was Great Artists where our young guests learned about the art and
techniques of artists such as Jackson Pollock and then decorated handkerchiefs
with bold splatters and drips. Parents are requested to
remain with their child and participate until the end of the program. Under the
direction of volunteer art educator Dr. Rosalind Perez, children discover Great
Artists through various examples of artwork during this hour-long interactive
program designed to educate, entertain and inspire. Imagination Station is made possible in part by a grant from The
George & Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation.
Hours: 10-11 a.m. Its FREE, but please RSVP! 281-335-7777 or
